How to Cook Pierogies

Boiled: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Drop pierogis in boiling water and wait for them to float. lower temperature and cook for an additional 1 minute. Remove pierogies with a slotted spoon. DO NOT OVER COOK! Gently toss pierogies with melted margarine or butter. Top with your favorite toppings such as bacon, onions, sour cream.

Pan Fry: Thaw completely , lightly cover bottom of your pan with a neutral cooking oil like margarine or butter . Pre-heat pan on low-medium. Place thawed pierogies into the frying pan. Begin to fry but half way through place a splash of water (about 1 oz) in pan and cover for about 1 minute. Remove lid and continue frying until golden brown on both sides. Do not over crowd your pan. Once you achieve your desired golden brown plate pierogies & top with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

BBQ: Preheat BBQ on low-medium. Brush pierogi with melted butter or margarine both sides. Place pierogies on a disposable tray or directly on the grill. Grill them for 8-10 minutes turning frequently until golden brown.

Air Fry Pierogi: Place frozen pierogi in the air fryer (5-6 pierogies at a time) and turn on to 365°F. Air fry for about 16-18 minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
If you air fry thawed pierogies then only cook for 8-10 minutes.

All pierogies are par boiled.
